Its very
easy to install your Library Manager Software.
Please follow these steps in sequence:
1.
Close all opened programs
2. Insert the CD having 'Library Manager' Package in the CD
Drive
3. Open this Folder 'Library Manager' Package
4. Double Click the 'Setup.exe' file
5. Installation will start
6. Do not allow those fonts to install which are already in
your system
7. Ignore any other errors during installation
Once,
the installation is over, perform these tasks for smooth
functioning of the Software
Now, your installation is over. Enjoy it.
You
Must do after installation
Before you try to use the Library Manager Software, it is
mandatory to make a DSN (Distributed System Network/ Database
Source Name). This DSN will attach your database file 'SofexLibrary.mdb'
with the program. Trying to use this software without making DSN
will not yield any result.
Perform the following in sequence (example is for 'Windows 98/
Windows XP'):
Go to ->
Control Panel
-> ODBC Data Sources (32bit)
-> User DSN tab
-> Add
-> Select Driver [MS Access Driver (*.mdb)
File- odbcjt32.dll]
-> Finish
Data Source Name: SofexIndiaLib
(It is case
sensitive)
Description:
Library Manager (Optional)
Database Frame:
Press Select
Drive:
C:
Directories:
Select C:\Program Files\Library Manager
List Files of Type: Set *.*
Database Name: See your database
file 'SofexLibrary.mdb'. Select it, Uncheck 'Read Only' property,
if it is checked, and then press ok
Your Database path and name will appear above the 'Select' button
in the 'Microsoft Access Setup' Section.
Press 'OK' -> you will
return back to 'ODBC Data Source Administrator'.
See the 'User Data
Sources' for the name 'SofexIndiaLib'. If it appears then your job
is over.
Press 'OK' to exit this
setup.
Note:You can change the database filename ''SofexLibrary.mdb' to
some other name, however, you will have to configure it in the 'SofexIndiaLib'
DSN name created above.
REGISTRATION:
For Registering this Software you will have to find the
Installation Codes. The Installation Codes can be found as under:
1. Open the Library Manager Program by double clicking its icon
2. In the Opening Screen press Register &
reply No
in response.
3. Registration Info screen will come up
4. Press the 'Registration Codes' tab
5. Note down the 'Installation ID' and 'Machine Code'
6. Send these Codes to your vendor through Email or phone
7. Vendor will provide you a 'Registration Code'
Once you get the Registration Code, follow these steps to
Register:
1. Open the Library Manager Program by double clicking its icon
2. Press Register
in the opening screen.
3. You will be queried for three options 'Yes', 'No' and 'Cancel'
4. Select 'Yes' for Registration
5. Write the 'Registration Code' in the Input Box and press 'OK'
6. If your Code is correct then 'Registration Form' will appear
7. Fill up the Registration Form and press 'Register'
8. Now, press 'Exit' button to End.
